According to Stanford University in the United States, 24 Sri Lankans make up the top 2% of the world’s best scientists.
Among them are Professor Neelika Malavige, Professor Meththika Vithanage, Dr. Anushka U and Rajapaksha of the University of Sri Lanka.
Twenty-four scientists from various institutions are on the world’s top 2% list of scientists.
These laboratories include the University of Srijaywaldenpra, the Institute for International Water Management, the University of Peradeniya, the College of Wayamba, the University of Colombo, the University of Kelaniya, and the University of Jahuna in Sri Lanka.
